We are a small and friendly club based in a rural setting between Coalville, Shepshed and Loughborough, Leicestershire. NO WATER AT CLUB

JUST LETTING YOU KNOW THAT WE HAVE A WATER LEAK AT THE CLUB AND NOT SURE WHEN IT WILL BE SORTED.    THE LEAK IS IN THE LADIES TOILET AND WATER IS SPURTING OUT IF YOU DO TURN THE WATER ON.   IF YOU GO TO THE CLUB YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE WATER AND TOILETS WILL BE OUT OF ACTION.

Nothing stops Oaks Ladies...

Oaks Ladies Coaching Session at Charnwood LTC Wednesday 23rd Jan 2013
Oaks Ladies Tennis Coaching takes place on Wednesdays.  Nothing stops play - even snow - although in this case we had to move our coaching session to Charnwood LTC.

Thanks to our coach Caroline Wilkinson and other members of Charnwood who had cleared the courts the day before.

COST £10 INCLUDING HOT FOOD
The food will be lasagne and chips.  The first round of the quiz will begin at 7.30 pm prompt, food will follow at 8.30 pm and then the second round will commences.   There will be prizes for the winners.

Dear All

I am pleased to say that the ladies have had a wonderful full year of tennis.

In January we continued our winter friendly matches, with some excellent results, the majority, if not, all were won.  We continued with good attendance at the regular indoor practices on Thursday evenings at the Loughborough University LTA facility.

Annual General Meeting 2013

The Annual General Meeting of the Oaks and District Tennis Club is to be held on Wednesday 16th January at The Black Swan in Shepshed. (21 Loughborough Road, LE12 9DL).  Start time 7:30.  We do hope that you can come along and will be able to stay after the formal proceedings for a chat.
